Welcome to Year 5. Here, you will find Mrs Dring, Mrs Shacklady, Miss Russell and 2 classes full of enthusiastic, polite and hard working children. We start the year with a rip-roaring residential, where we build firm foundations of teamwork and resilience for the year ahead.

Our year group is named after Helen Sharman. On 18th May 1991, Helen Sharman, aged just 27, became the first British astronaut to travel into space. as part of Project Juno, a private British space programme. When she applied, she thought she would never get chosen because she was "too ordinary". We have taken inspiration from how extraordinary she became!
